The RGD70ALNB is a seven string RGD series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2021. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the metal focused Axion Label line.
The RGD series guitars have a body based on the RG series but with special bevels and deep scoop cuts in the horns. They also have extra long 26½" scale necks.
The RGD70ALNB features a nyatoh body bolted to a panga panga and walnut neck with a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 Sub Zero treated frets, white step offset dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include a pair of DiMarzio Fusion Edge 7 humbucking pickups, an Edge Zero II-7 double locking tremolo bridge, Gotoh tuning machines and Schaller S-Lock strap lock pins. It also has a luminescent Ibanez headstock logo.
The RGD71ALPA is a related model with a poplar burl top, fixed bridge and Bare Knuckle pickups.
