The RGD61ALET is an RGD series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It is produced in Indonesia, initially as part of the metal focused Axion Label line, but starting in 2023 as one of the initial models in the Axe Design Lab series.
The RGD series guitars have a body based on the RG series but with special bevels and deep scoop cuts in the horns. They also have extra long 26½" scale necks.
The RGD61ALET features a maple top on a nyatoh body bolted to a panga panga and walnut neck with a luminescent headstock logo and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 Sub Zero treated frets, white step offset dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include a pair of Fishman Fluence active humbucking pickups, an Evertune bridge, Gotoh locking tuning machines and Schaller S-Lock strap lock pins. It also has a luminescent Ibanez logo on the headstock.
The RGD61AL is a related model with a flamed maple topped ash body, a birdseye maple fretboard, DiMarzio pickups and a standard fixed bridge. The RGD61ALA is a related model with an ash body and without the Evertune bridge.
