The RGD421 is an RGD series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2012. It was produced in Indonesia replacing the RGD321.

The RGD421 features a basswood body bolted to a 26½" scale maple Wizard III neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with black pearl dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Cap-VK passive humbucking pickups and a Gibraltar Standard fixed bridge. Controls consist of just a master volume and a 3-way toggle pickup selector.

The RGD420Z is a similar model with a tremolo bridge. The RGD7421 is a similar seven-string model.

The RGD421 was produced for just one year.
