The RGAIX7U is a seven-string RGA series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2017. It was made in Indonesia as part of the metal-focused Iron Label line.
The RGAIX7U features an ash body bolted to a maple and bubinga Nitro Wizard neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with binding and no inlays. Components include a fixed bridge, dual Bare Knuckle humbucking pickups with a coil-split toggle and locking Gotoh tuners.
For 2018 the neck construction was changed to maple and purpleheart and luminescent side dots were added.
The RGAIX7FM is a similar model with a mahogany body with a flamed maple top and DiMarzio pickups. The RGAIX6U is a six-string version.
The RGAIX7U was discontinued after 2018.
