The RGAIX6FMT is an RGA series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2016. It was made in Indonesia as part of the metal-focused Iron Label line.
The RGAIX6FMT features a flamed maple top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and bubinga Nitro Wizard neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with binding and no inlays. Components include a double locking tremolo bridge, dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups with coil-split capability and locking Gotoh tuners.
For 2018 the maple and bubinga neck was replaced by a maple and purpleheart construction and luminescent side dots were added.
The RGAIX6FM is a similar model with a fixed bridge.
The RGAIX6FMT was available beginning August 2016.[1] It was discontinued after 2018.
