The RGAIX6FM is an RGA series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2016. It was made in Indonesia as part of the metal focused Iron Label line.
The RGAIX6FM features a sculpted flamed maple top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and bubinga Nitro Wizard neck with an ebony fingerboard with binding and no inlays. Components include a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge, dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups with coil-split capability and locking Gotoh tuning machines.
For 2018 the maple and bubinga neck was replaced by a maple and purpleheart construction and luminescent side dots were added. For 2019 the mahogany body was replaced with nyatoh.
The RGAIX6FMT is a similar model with a tremolo bridge. The RGAIX7FM is a seven-string version. The RGAIX6MQM is a similar model with a quilted maple top and birdseye maple fretboard. The RGAIX6U is a related model with an ash body and Bare Knuckle pickups, which was introduced for 2017.
