RGA8QM Transparent Gray Burst

The RGA8QM is an eight-string RGA series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2012.

The RGA8QM features a mahogany body with an arched quilted maple top bolted to a titanium-reinforced maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include dual, covered Ibanez active humbucking pickups with an Active EQ control, a fixed bridge and a locking nut.

The RGA8 is a similar model without the exotic top. The RGA7QM is a similar seven-string model and the RGA72QM is a similar six-string guitar.

The RGA8QM had just a one year production run.

The RGA8QM features an Active EQ preamp controlled with an on/off toggle switch. This EQ allows a bass/treble boost while cutting mid frequencies.
