The Ibanez RGA8 is an eight-string RGA series electric guitar model introduced in 2010. The RGA8 is the first eight-string RGA model and the second eight-string Ibanez overall, after the RG2228.

Features include a mahogany body, Ibanez made active pickups and a Fixed Edge III-8 bridge. The 27-Inch scale length Wizard II-8 neck has KTS Titanium Reinforcement rods. Special feature is the active EQ switch which activates a mid-cut. For 2011, the body shape is updated with new scoop cuts on the horns.

Other extended range RGA models include the similar seven-string RGA7, the Prestige seven-string RGA427Z and the RGA8QM featuring a Quilted Maple top.
