The RGA72TQMZ is an RGA series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2011. It replaced the RGA72QM which has a different tremolo, although this model is referred to simply the RGA72QM in some catalogs.
The RGA72TQMZ is similar to the 2010 RGA72TQM, but has the new Edge Zero II tremolo, a revised body with deeper scoop cuts on the cutaway horns and new fretboard inlays. Other features include a mahogany body with a quilted maple top, Ibanez LoZ active humbucking pickups, a locking nut and a set-in titanium-reinforced Wizard III neck. A special feature is the active EQ switch which activates a mid-cut.
Similar models are the hard-tail RGA72QM and the RGA72TQMZE with EMG pickups. A more affordable RGA is the RGA42TFMZ featuring a bolt-on neck.
