The RGA42T is an RGA series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2010. It was among the first tremolo-equipped RGA models.
The RGA42T features an arched-top mahogany body with binding bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual, covered Ibanez LoZ active humbucking pickups, an Edge III double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut. A special feature is the active EQ toggle which activates a mid-cut.
The RGA42 is a similar model with a fixed bridge.
The RGA42TZ, which featured a new Edge Zero II tremolo replaced the RGA42T for 2011.
