The RG970WBWZ is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2013. It was made in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line.

The RG970WBWZ features a walnut burl top on an American basswood body bolted to a wenge and bubinga Wizard neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio IBZ pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS3Fe tuning stabilizer and a locking nut.

The RG970WQMZ is similar except it has a quilted maple top. The RG970WFMZ is a related model with a flamed maple top and a wenge fretboard.

The RG970WBWZ was discontinued after 2015.
