The RG927WZCZ is a seven string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2015. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line.
The RG927WZCZ features a ziricote top on an American basswood body bolted to a maple and bubinga Wizard-7 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset mother of pearl dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio IBZ-7 humbucking pickups and an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS3Fe tuning stabilizer.
The RG927QMZ, which this model succeeded, is similar except for its quilted maple top and different neck construction. The RG927WBBZ which was introduced in Japan in 2016 is similar but for a buckeye burl top.
