The RG920QMZ is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2011. It is also known as the RG920QM, as the Z suffix is ignored for some models in promotional material.
The RG Premium models are all new for 2011 and are Indonesian-made higher-grade models. The RG920QMZ has a basswood body with a quilted maple top with binding bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and offset pearloid position markers. Components include dual DiMarzio IBZ humbucking pickups and an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge with removable ZPS tuning stabilizer and a locking nut.
A similar model with Ibanez pickups and a titanium reinforced neck is issued as the RG870QMZ. Another RG Premium model without the quilted maple top is issued as the RG870Z.
The RG920Z is a similar model without the quilted maple top. The RG920MQMZ is identical except it has a maple fretboard.
