The RG8L is a left-handed, eight string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2013. It is among the first eight string models produced in large numbers by Ibanez.

The RG8L features a basswood body bolted to a titanium-reinforced maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual covered Ibanez soapbar humbucking pickups and a fixed bridge.

The RG8 is a right-handed version.

The RG8L was discontinued after 2014.
