The RG8FM is an eight-string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2014.
The RG8FM features a basswood body with a flamed maple top bolted to a maple and walnut 27" scale neck with a 24-fret rosewood fretboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez covered humbucking pickups and a fixed bridge.
The RG8 is a similar model without the flamed maple top. The RG8PB is a similar model with a poplar burl top.
