The RG870QMZ is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2011. It is part of the new Premium line of Indonesian made higher-grade models.

The RG870QMZ has a basswood body with quilted maple top, Ibanez VM pickups, a Wizard Premium neck and an Edge Zero II tremolo bridge.

For the US market, a similar model with DiMarzio IBZ pickups and no KTS Titanium Reinforcement is issued as the RG920QMZ. Another RG Premium model without the quilted maple top is issued as the RG870Z.

The RG870QMZL is a left-handed version. A similar model with a rosewood top, Dimarzios pickups, no KTS Titanium and white off-set dots, the RG870RWZ was offered in late 2015.
