The RG8670 is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in late 2003. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom line.
The RG8670 features a mahogany body with a flame maple top bolted to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with flame maple binding and mother of pearl Tree of Life inlay. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an Edge Pro double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG8570 is a similar model with a rosewood fretboard and cosmo black hardware. The HRG1 is a similar spot model with a quilted maple top and cosmo black hardware.
