The RG8571 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2012. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the handcrafted J Custom line.
The RG8571 is the first hard-tail six-string RG model in the J Custom line. It features a AAA flamed maple top with binding on an African mahogany body bolted to a titanium reinforced maple and walnut neck with Velvetouch treatment and a 24-fret selected rosewood fingerboard with flamed maple binding and Tree of Life vine inlays. Components include DiMarzio pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a Tight End-R fixed bridge, recessed Easy Access control knobs, a TUSQ nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG8570Z is a similar model with a double locking tremolo bridge.
