The RG8570 is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2001. It was also referred to as the JCRG-80. It was made in Japan by Fujigen as part of the high end J Custom line; later in the run, production may have moved to Sugi.
The RG8570 features a mahogany body with a flame maple top bolted to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with offset mother of pearl dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups in an HSH configuration, an Edge Pro double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut.
The RG8570M is a very similar model with a maple fretboard. The RG8520 is another similar model which lacks the middle pickup. The RG8670 is similar, but with an ebony fretboard with a Tree of Life inlay and violet chrome hardware. The RG9570 is similar but with neck-through construction, an ebony fretboard and cosmo white hardware.
