The RG8570ZXX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in August 2016. It was released to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Japanese handcrafted J Custom series.[1] It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.
The RG8570ZXX features a curly maple top with binding on a mahogany body bolted to a titanium-reinforced maple and walnut neck with Velvetouch treatment and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with maple binding and Tree of Life inlays. Components include DiMarzio pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and removable ZPS tuning stabilizer, recessed Easy Access control knobs and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG8570Z is a similar model with a flamed maple top and cosmo black hardware.
Production of the RG8570ZXX was limited to just 20 units and ended in 2017.
