The RG8570ZQM is limited edition RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2022. It was crafted in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high-end J Custom line.
The RG8570ZQM features a 4mm thick AAAAA quilted maple top on African mahogany body bolted to a maple and wenge neck with a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets, Tree of Life inlays, and Luminlay side dots. Components include a set of DiMarzio pickups with a with Air Norton and The Tone Zone humbuckers flanking a True Velvet single-coil, an Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge with removable ZPS3 tuning stabilizer, and gold hardware with Gotoh tuning machines and locking strap pins.
The RG8570ZME is a related model with marbled ebony top. The RG8570ZKR is a related model with japanese korina top.
Production of the RG8570ZQM was limited to as few as 6 examples[1] and the model was discontinued after 2023.
