The RG8570SP is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2015. It was made in Japan by FujiGen a limited production model which was part of the Japanese handcrafted J Custom line. It was revealed at the Gakki (Musical Instruments) Fair show in Japan in November 2014.[1]

The RG8570SP features a spalted maple and walnut top on an ash body bolted to a titanium reinforced maple and walnut neck with a satin Velvetouch finish and a rosewood fingerboard with flamed maple binding and Tree of Life vine inlay. Components include DiMarzio pickups in an HSH configuration, a Lo Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, recessed Easy Access control knobs, Free-Lock II strap locks and Gotoh tuning machines.

The RG8570MW is a similar model with a myrtle top. The RG8570BB is another similar model with a mahogany body and buckeye burl top. The RG8570Z is a related model with a mahogany body with a flamed maple top, an Edge Zero tremolo and cosmo black hardware. The RG8570ZXX J. Custom 20th Anniversary model is related but with a mahogany body with curly maple top and Edge Zero tremolo.

The RG8570SP was discontinued after 2016.
