The RG8570 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2023. It is made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high-end J Custom line. It replaced the RG8570Z which is very similar but has an Edge Zero tremolo.
The RG8570 features a 4mm thick AAA flamed maple top on an African mahogany body bolted to a maple and wenge neck with Velvetouch finish and a 24-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard with flamed maple binding and a Tree of Life vine inlay. Components include a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, DiMarzio pickups with Air Norton and Tone Zone humbuckers flanking a True Velvet single-coil, recessed Easy Access control knobs, Gotoh tuning machines, and Gotoh strap locks.
The RG8520 is a similar model without the middle pickup.
