The RG8560SLTD is a limited edition RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2020. It was a spot model made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high-end J Custom to help commemorate the 45th anniversary of Japanese retailer Ikebe Gakki.
The RG8560SLTD features a 4mm thick sapele burl top with natural binding on an Ash body bolted to a maple and wenge neck with VelveTouch finish and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with flame maple binding and Tree of Life inlays. The body has a thin walnut layer between the ash and sapele burl which is exposed in the forearm relief. Components include a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, DiMarzio Black Velvet pickups with a humbucker at the bridge with a mini-toggle coil split switch and single-coils in the neck and middle positions, Gotoh tuning machines and Gotoh locking strap pins.
The RG8560 is a similar regular production model with a flame maple top.
Only 20 RG8560SLTD-NTF guitars have been produced.
