The RG8527FXL is a left-handed seven string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2016. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as the first left-handed seven string guitar included in the upscale J Custom line. It is a spot model which was offered exclusively by Japanese retailer Taniguchi Gakki. According to the retailer, only six were produced.
The RG8527FXL features a flamed maple top with natural binding on an African mahogany body bolted to a titanium reinforced maple and wenge neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with flamed maple binding and Tree of Life vine inlays. Components include dual DiMarzio PAF 7 humbucking pickups, a Tight-End R-7 fixed bridge and a TUSQ nut.
