The RG8520 is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez for 2001. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale J Custom series. It was also known as the JCRG-20.

The RG8520 features a flame maple top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and offset mother of pearl dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls, a Lo Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.

The RG8570 is a similar model which adds a middle pickup. The RG8527 is similar seven-string model.

The RG8520 was discontinued after 2002, but a substantially different model with the same name was produced in 2004.
