The RG827QMZ is a seven-string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2012. It was made in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line.
The RG827QMZ features a basswood body with a quilted maple top bolted to a titanium-reinforced maple and walnut Wizard-7 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez CAP-VM humbucking pickups and an Edge Zero II 7 double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS3Fe tuning stabilizer.
The RG827Z is a similar model without the quilted maple top.
The RG827QMZ was discontinued after just one year.
