The RG80F is an eight string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2021. It was produced in Indonesia. It replaced the RG80E which had EMG pickups.
The RG80F features a meranti body bolted to a maple and walnut 27" scale neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Fishman Fluence active humbucking pickups with a voice-changing toggle, a fixed bridge, and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
The RG8 is a related model with Ibanez passive pickups.
The RG80F was discontinued after 2023.
