The RG8004 is an eight-string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2014. It was produced in Indonesia as a spot model which was sold in the USA exclusively by retailers Guitar Center and Musician's Friend.

The RG8004 features a mahogany body bolted to a 27" scale maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez humbucking pickups and a fixed bridge.

The RG8 is a similar regular production model.

The RG8004 was discontinued in 2015.
