The RG7EXFX2, also known as the RG7EF2, is a seven-string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2007. It was produced in South Korea.

The RG7EXFX2 features a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 27" scale length and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and offset dot position markers. Components include a pair of active EMG humbucking pickups and a standard hard-tail bridge.

It replaced the 2006 RG7EXFX model with the only notable change being a new finish.

The RG7EXFX2 was available only in Japan and was discontinued after 2008.
