The RG7CSD1 features a basswood body bolted to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret selected rosewood fingerboard with a special inlay at the 12th fret. Components include a double locking tremolo bridge, dual active EMG humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls with Sure Grip II knobs and a locking nut.
