The RG770FM is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1990. It was part of the Roadstar II series which later became know as the RG series. It was made in Japan by FujiGen and was available only in the USA market.

The RG770FM features a flamed maple top on a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and sharktooth position markers. Components include DiMarzio IBZ/USA pickups with F2 & F4 humbuckers flanking a C2 noiseless, stacked single-coil, an Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.

The RG770 is a similar model without the exotic top. The RG770QM is a related model with a quilted maple top and dot position markers.

This RG770FM was available for only one year, but another model with the same name was offered in Japan only in 2000.
