The RG760FM is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2002. It was a spot model which was made in Japan by FujiGen and is believed to have been sold exclusively in Japan.
This RG760FM features a a flamed maple top on a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fretboard with binding and offset dot position markers. Components include Ibanez Quantum pickups with a humbucker at the bridge and single-coils in the middle and neck positions a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines. The pickups and controls for this model are not mounted to the pickguard, but are mounted to the body with the pickguard being mounted directly to the top.
The RG770FM was a related model without the pickguard and with a humbucker in the neck position.
The RG760FM was discontinued after one year in production.
