This model was produced as a special limited run put together by US retailer The Axe Palace for whom twelve examples were produced. A few additional guitars were also sold in Japan through Ikebe Gakki.

The RG752LWFX is a similar model with at limba wood top while the RG752WMFX is a version with a wenge top. The RG752FX is a related model without an exotic top.
