The RG752LWFX is a seven string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2014. It is made in Japan by Fujigen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RG752LWFX features a limba wood top on a basswood body bolted to a maple and wenge Wizard 7 neck with a matching headstock and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge, dual DiMarzio PAF 7 humbucking pickups and Gotoh locking tuning machines.
A similar model without the limba wood top, the RG752FX, was released concurrently. A model with a wenge top, the RG752WMFX, was introduced in 2015. The RG652LWFX is a similar six-string model. The RG752LWFXL is a left-handed version.
A new finish, Anvil Gray Burst, along with a bound marbled rosewood fretboard was added in late 2016. The fretboard reverted to a standard rosewood fretboard for 2018.
