The RG750 is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1987. It was originally part of the Roadstar II series which evolved into the RG series.

The RG750 features a basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and sharktooth position markers. Pickups are IBZ/USA models made by DiMarzio with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil mounted in a black pickguard. Other components include a double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.

During its production run, several changes were made to the RG750. In 1990, a new neck pickup and finishes with color-matched headstocks were introduced. In 1991 the middle pickup was changed. Finally, 1992 models got the Lo-Pro Edge tremolo.

The RG750L is a left-handed version which was produced in very small numbers. The RG550 is a similar model with different pickups and fretboard inlays and without fretboard binding.

Paul Gilbert has used and still uses an orange RG750, modded with varying pickups, fixed bridge and dinosaur stickers.[1]

The RG750 was discontinued after 1992. In 1994 a similar looking model was introduced as the RG550LTD. The RG550DX introduced in 2019 as part of the Genesis Collection is visually very similar to this model.
