RG7421XL Gray Nickel Red copyright sprite

The RG7421XL is a seven string, baritone scale RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2001. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.

The RG7421XL features a basswood body bolted to a 27" baritone scale maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups and a fixed bridge.

The RG7421 is a similar model with a standard-length neck.

The RG7421XL was discontinued after two years.
