The RG7420L is a seven string left-handed RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid-2000. It was also referred to as the RG7-420L in some instances.

Features of the RG7420L include a basswood body bolted to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups and a double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut.

The RG7420 is a right-handed version.

The RG7420L was discontinued after 2002.
