The RG721RW is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2013. It was made in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line. In Japan this model is referred to as simply the RG721.
The RG721RW features a sonokeling top with abalone purfling and white binding on an American basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard Premium neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white binding and offset dot position markers. Components include a Tight-End R fixed bridge and dual Ibanez CAP-VM humbucking pickups.
The RG721RWL is a left-handed version. A version with a flamed maple top, the RG721FM, was introduced in 2014. Another similar model with a birdseye maple fretboard and spalted maple top, the RG721MSM, was added for 2017.
The RG721RW was discontinued after 2017.
