The RG6HSHFX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2020. It is made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the new J-Line range. The RG6HSHFX was just the second J-Line model introduced, following the Talman TM730.
The RG6HSHFX features a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard neck with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard with black binding and no position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups with direct mounted V7 & V8 humbuckers flanking an S1 single-coil, individual Mono-rail bridges, a Graph Tech TUSQ nut, and locking Gotoh tuning machines. The headstock features a black logo. It was shipped with a soft case.
A new Khaki Metal Flat finish was introduced in mid-2024.[1]
The RG6HSHMTR is a related model with a double-locking tremolo bridge.
