The RG6CSD1 is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2000. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom line.
The RD6CSD1 is part of a limited series of J Custom models which were designed at Ibanez's L. A. Custom Shop in California.
The RG6CSD1 features a basswood body bolted to a maple and bubinga Super Wizard neck with a 24-fret selected rosewood fingerboard with a special inlay at the 12th fret. Components include a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a single active EMG humbucking pickup, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines. Controls consist of only a master volume with a black Sure Grip II knob.
The RG7CSD1 is a related seven-string model with dual humbuckers.
The RG6CSD1 was produced in limited numbers and was made only in 2000.
