The RG685 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1998.

The RG685 features an American basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position makers. Components include Ibanez Quantum pickups a low profile double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut.

The RG685 was available only in Japan. The RG680 is a similar model with a basswood body. The RG680CM is a similar model with a basswood body and curly maple top.
