The RG680CM is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1998.

The RG680CM features a basswood body with a curly maple top bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position makers. Components include Ibanez Quantum pickups, a low profile double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut.

The RG680CM was available only in Japan. The RG680CL is a left-handed version. The RG685 is a similar model with a solid American basswood body. The RG680 is a similar model without the exotic top and with sharktooth fretboard inlays.
