The RG657K is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2016. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RG657K features an Australian blackwood top with binding on a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut Super Wizard HP neck with a 24-fret marbled rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components included DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil which are mounted directly to the body, an Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG657PB is a similar model with a mahogany body with a poplar burl top. The RG657MSK is a related model with a mahogany body with a silky oak top and a maple fretboard.
