The RG652MPBFX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2016. It was produced in Japan by Fujigen part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RG652MPBFX features poplar burl top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret birdseye maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge, dual DiMarzio direct-mounted humbucking pickups, a Graph Tech TUSQ nut and Gotoh locking tuning machines.
The RG652KFX is similar except for the wood species used for the top and fingerboard. The RG652MQFXS is a similar spot model with a quilted maple top. The RG652FX is similar but lacks the exotic top and fingerboard. The RG752MPBFX is a similar seven-string model.
