The RG652MBQS is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2016. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RG652MBQS is a spot model which was configured on behalf of some users of the Facebook group "Ibanez RG Series Fans" in conjunction with Killerburst Guitars which is the exclusive North American dealer for this model.[1] Some of the remaining pieces were also sold thru a few dealers in Japan. Only 14 examples were produced.
The RG652MBQS features a quilted maple top on an ash body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers. Components include an Edge double locking tremolo bridge with locking nut, dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG652AHM is a similar model without the exotic top.
