The RG652KFX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2015. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RG652KFX features an Australian blackwood top on a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut Super Wizard HP neck with a 24-fret marbled rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a Gibraltar Standard II hard-tail bridge, dual DiMarzio direct-mounted humbucking pickups, a Graph Tech TUSQ nut, and Gotoh locking tuning machines.
The RG652FX is a similar model which lacks the exotic top and fingerboard. The RG652MPBFX is similar except for the wood species used for the top and fingerboard. The RG652KFXL is a left-handed version.
The RG652KFX was discontinued after 2017 in all markets except Japan; it was discontinued completely after 2018.
