The RG6001 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2014. It was a spot model which was offered exclusively by US retailers Guitar Center and Musician's Friend. It was produced in Indonesia.
The RG6001 features a mahogany body bolted to a maple Wizard III neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with sharktooth position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Infinity humbucking pickups and a double locking tremolo bridge.
The RG6002 is a similar model with a black finish. The RG450DXB is a similar model with a white pearloid pickguard and Quantum pickups in an HSH configuration.
The RG6001 was offered only in 2014.
