The RG581 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1998. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.

The RG581 features an alder body bolted to a maple Wizard neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and dot position markers. Components include a hard-tail bridge and Ibanez Vintage pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil.

The RG580 is a related model with a mahogany body and a double locking tremolo bridge.

The RG581 was only available in Japan and was discontinued after 1999.
