The RG570M is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1989. It was originally part of the Roadstar II series, which evolved into the RG series. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.
The RG570M features a basswood body with a one-piece maple neck attached with a tilt joint with a metal plate. The Wizard neck has a 24-fret maple fingerboard with dot position markers. The RG570 has Ibanez V1 and V2 humbucking pickups flanking an Ibanez S1 single-coil which are mounted to the body with pickup rings.[1]
The RG570 is a similar model with a rosewood fretboard. The rosewood version was produced in far greater numbers than this model with maple fretboard which appears to be quite rare.
The RG570M is a spot model which never appeared in a catalog. It was discontinued after just one year in production.
